Please bless this simple and humble attempt to write of my experiences and realizations of living with Mother Lore. There are some incredibly sweet moments in our daily life that I'd like to pass on to all of you. I know that many of you want to know how she is doing so I'll try to communicate with regular postings.
.
I've been living with Mother Lore since June of 2012 and there are many memories that I don't want to slip by without sharing them. I write for my own benefit, for yours and for others who may one day find themselves in a similar situation of caring for a loved one who is disabled, sick, or invalid. Don't let such slices of life go unnoticed, they're so endearing and precious.
At Lore's regular sitting place , I've placed a digital picture frame loaded with a variety of transcendental pictures ...Sri Sri Radha Nila Madvava, Srila Prabhupada, and her son, Tamal Krsna Maharaj. One of the first times that she was watching the pictures change at 15 sec intervals, she got excited about one picture of Tamal Krsna Maharaja and said, " Uh-uh. That one's wrong" and I'm thinking, "What could be wrong?" So I scrolled back to the picture and she pointed out that the negative must have been flipped because his "spot" was on the wrong side of his head.
Another time, she was looking for something in a drawer and was just about to close it, when she saw the face of her son on one of those pin- on picture buttons in the drawer. She kissed her fingertips and touched them to his picture in a hurried sort of way, as if he were going out the door. Then she closed the drawer.
